Other Churches

‘How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!’ (Psalm 133:1)

We are an independent church in regard to church government, but we know from the Bible that churches must not be isolated. The New Testament presents a picture of close co-operation and fellowship between individual local churches. The unity we enjoy with other parts of Christ’s Church is expressed through our links with like-minded, Bible-believing churches.

Local church fellowship

Several times a year we meet for fellowship and prayer with four other local evangelical churches.

Regional church fellowship

The Pastor is a member of the East Midlands Evangelical Ministers’ Fraternal. This group connects us with more than 20 other evangelical churches in the region. The Fraternal helps us to share encouragement and accountability with a wider circle of gospel churches.

Once a year the churches connected to the EMEMF meet together for ‘East Midlands Churches Day’. This is a wonderful opportunity to worship together and enjoy the company of Christians across the region. See more at the East Midlands Churches Day website.

National church fellowship

As a further expression of gospel unity, the church is affiliated to the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC), which has more than 500 member churches in the UK.

Members of the church also enjoy fellowship with many more evangelical Christians around the country by attending various good Christian conferences, and by participate in national outreach activities such as Christian camps and beach missions.

International church fellowship
