Sunday Worship Times: 10:45 & 6:15

in East Leake Village Hall

Children at ELEC

Families and children are warmly welcome at the church, for the good news of Jesus Christ is relevant to people of all ages.
Sunday activities

On Sundays there is usually a Children’s Talk during the morning service. Children are welcome to remain throughout the service, but we do have a Sunday School for children aged 3-11 years if parents wish them to have such teaching.

Both Sunday services are relayed to a room at the rear of the Hall, so you can continue to follow the service even if you need to take out and settle your young children.

Bible Adventure Club

Bible Adventure Club is a great new way for your children to explore the amazing stories of the Bible – all year round! Any children aged 5-13 can join Bible Adventure Club, and it is free of charge. They will receive regular activity sheets suitable for their age, which include Bible stories, puzzles, colouring, and quizzes. Completed sheets can be returned for marking, and prizes will be awarded as their marks add up! For more information or to join, please get in touch.

Holiday Bible Club

In August of each year we run a Holiday Bible Club for children aged 5-11 years.

Tiny Tots Tune Time

During the week there is the Tiny Tots Tune Time for children up to the age at which they start school, together with their parents, other relatives or carers.

In all these activities we aim to make known the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ in ways which are relevant and faithful to the Bible.

The Church is committed to showing God’s love and care at all times; in the safeguarding of children we aim to be above reproach. All the church leaders and children’s workers undergo Criminal Records Bureau checks. Our Safeguarding Children Policy Statement sets out in more detail the Church’s responsibilities.

Jim Bottrill is the Safeguarding Children Co-ordinator.
