Families and children are warmly welcome at the church, for the good news of Jesus Christ is relevant to people of all ages.
During Sunday services
Children are welcome to remain throughout the service, and in the mornings a question sheet is usually available to help the children follow and engage with the message.
Both Sunday services are relayed to a room at the rear of the Hall, so you can continue to follow the service even if you need to take out and settle your young children.
Bible Adventure Club
Bible Adventure Club runs on Sunday afternoons for all children aged 5-13 years old. The club includes singing, Bible stories and activities together, then the children split into smaller groups to learn more together about the Bible’s wonderful message for us all.
Holiday Bible Club
In August of each year we run a Holiday Bible Club for children aged 5-11 years.
Tiny Tots Tune Time
During the week there is the Tiny Tots Tune Time for children up to the age at which they start school, together with their parents, other relatives or carers.
In all these activities we aim to make known the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ in ways which are relevant and faithful to the Bible.
The Church is committed to showing God’s love and care at all times; in the safeguarding of children we aim to be above reproach. All the church leaders and children’s workers undergo Criminal Records Bureau checks. Our Safeguarding Children Policy Statement sets out in more detail the Church’s responsibilities.
Jim Bottrill is the Safeguarding Children Co-ordinator.
